I have a strong immune system, and you may too... in any case, sooner or later you will feel the signs and symptoms that something may be, or is just about to be amiss with your health... such as catching the common cold, or seasonal flu. When this happens, and if you prefer a holistic way of health and living, as I do... then naturally, you are inclined to search for and use certain foods, herbs, and supplements to "kick-start" your immune system as a means to help combat the oncoming cold and/or flu.
Over the years I have tried many natural remedies that claim to boost your immune system, allowing you to naturally alleviate the signs and symptoms of illness... with some being extremely effective, and some not so effective. From all the remedies that I have tried and tested over the years, that not only worked for myself but my friends and family too... I have uncovered Echinacea supplements to be the most effective.
Echinacea supplements come in many shapes and forms, as do most supplements. You may purchase straight Echinacea, or you may purchase a specific blend to combat the common cold or seasonal flu (that contains Echinacea as the primary ingredient). Personally I prefer the blended products as you enhance the effectiveness of Echinacea and really give your immune system the boost it requires to bring your body back to 100% physical health, allowing you to get back to living at optimum capacity.
Echinacea is a herb that has a very pretty flower when in bloom, with the medicine being made from the whole flower, stem, and root of the plant in the form of a supplement... usually sold as a tablet or oddly coloured pill. Other than helping alleviate symptoms of the common cold or seasonal flu, Echinacea supplements are also useful for a range of other ailments such as:
- Urinary Tract Infections (UTI)
- Gum Disease
- Chronic Fatigue Syndrome (CFS)
- Migraines and Other Pain
- etc...
As you can see from the points listed above, Echinacea is a great herbal supplement to take on a regular basis, or as need be. From my personal use, I have not experienced any side effects and as such from my point of view I don't see any safety concerns in taking this herbal supplement... although as always it is recommended to consult with your General Practitioner (GP) as to whether or not your chosen supplement is safe to consume for you personally.
And last but now least, I always recommend using sustainably farmed and organic supplements that are not only good for us, but also great for the environment in the short and long term... after all, if we are to properly look after ourselves, we must also care for the planet that we reside upon. Have yourself a healthy day!!!
If you already do, or plant to purchase your herbal supplements for natural remedies online, I would highly suggest having a look at the iherb online store for the most reputable supplements, at the most affordable prices.
